Given the rate at which home values have appreciated in recent years having this much equity is not unreasonable. However, homeowners should not make their homes piggybanks for any type of expense that comes up. Constant cashing out of a home’s equity is expensive and perhaps even dangerous over the long run.

Persons nearing retirement age may choose to consolidate debts in order to make life less complicated as well as to make living less expensive. This type of debt consolidation is also done by accessing the equity in one’s home. If the mortgage is long standing and the couple has maintained good to excellent credit it may be that the house can be refinanced at a significantly better interest rate while also generating cash to pay off a substantial number of bills. Thus, as the couple enters their retirement years they have a lower house payment and fewer bills to pay.

What can be the reason why smallmouth bass fishing at Lake Erie yields so much of the good catches? Well Lake Erie aside from its being so large a lake offers an excellent habitat and forage. The massiveness of the lake has given the smallmouth bass the ease of pressure usually given by small lakes thus making this great lake a Mecca of small mouth bass fishes.

But when you’re up for a bass fishing at Lake Erie, you must be very vigilant with the weather. Although it is a lake, the waters often resemble that of the ocean. A clear bright day may suddenly turn into a bad one accompanied by forceful winds just like what happened to some ten bass boats fishing the lake sometime in September of 1992.

Certainly Lake Erie is one of the most diverse fishing grounds in the country. In this lake you will not only find the most famous smallmouth bass fishes but also large quantity of yellow perch, the largemouth bass, the northern pike, white bass, the walleye and many other bass fish species.

While bass fishing at Lake Erie you must remember some standard regulations which are imposed in some states such as in Pennsylvania, if you are to catch the walleye, it must already be at least 18 inches, smaller than this is not allowed.

In Ohio, which covers about 262 miles of shoreline, smallmouth bass fishing at Lake Erie during summer have limits as to number the of bags. You are allowed to have three bags only instead of four and during any other time, you can catch up to a maximum of six bags.

During spawning period that is from March to April you are not allowed to catch using the treble hooks. These are new regulations you have to remember.

So if you are bass fishing at Lake Erie and want to share with the typical smallmouth catch of 80,000 smallmouths during a six week period starting end of June, just after the spawning period, you can come to Long point Bay. The smallmouth swims through this bay as they travel back to the main lake after the spawning period. The Presque Island area is also a good ground for fishing smallmouth. You may do deep water jigging and catch so much fish.

Offshore smallmouth bass fishing at Lake Erie is highly variable. Walleye anglers often have to travel more than a dozen miles to find fish, but this is normal in most of Lake Erie.

While off-shore fishing may not come very attractive particularly to beginners or amateur fishers, there is also a big chance to a good shore-fishing, especially for white bass, from the short pier. Channel catfish can be caught here, but to maximize catch in the shore fishing, you must fish in the night or when the water is discolored.

In recent years, it was noted that there is a phenomenon of increasing clear water in the lake which can be attributed to the so called “zebra water infestation” which has been driving the smallmouth species to the deep waters even during spawning thus trolling is still the number one way of catching the smallies.

When you are along the 42 mile shoreline Lake Erie in the State of Pennsylvania you may launch at the harbor of Presque Isle Bay at the city of Erie. Here you will have an easy way to catch the abundant yellow perch, walleye, steelhead and the smallmouth bass. Perch and walleye fishing is generally excellent at north point of Presque Isle while smallmouth bass fishing is best in east of Erie.

Presque Isle Bay provides relatively calm water that is suitable for smaller boats. It also offers good fishing for largemouth bass, northern pike, crappies and bluegills along with smallmouth bass and yellow perch.

By now you’ve made significant progress in your bodybuilding career. For the past three to six months you’ve learnt how to perform the core lifting exercises in a technically correct manner. You’ve also conditioned the body and developed sufficient core strength to prepare yourself for a whole new level of intensity. Hopefully you’ve also built some rock solid muscle! But that’s only the beginning.

In recent weeks your workouts have probably lost some of their effect so, even though you’re lifting bigger weights, your muscles now need even greater stimulation to generate maximal growth. Don’t expect miracles though - from this point onwards, every little bit of improvement will take even greater and more intensive work than before.

Because you’ll be working your muscles more intensively, they’ll also need more recovery time to adapt and grow and that’s why you’ll be reducing your workouts to three a week. Each primary muscle group trained will now need one full week to recover. After being used to whole body sessions and more workouts per week it may seem as if you’re not doing enough but the point is, you’ll be working your muscles very, very intensively and making better use of your time.

As you gain more experience you’ll be able to tweak or re-design your basic muscle building program to suit your own individual needs, but the program described here should provide a useful starting point. What I’m proposing is basically a 3-split of the body on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

MONDAY (Chest, Triceps, Shoulders)

1. Chest Exercises

Incline dumbbell press - this is a compound exercise that targets the chest but also works the triceps and shoulders to a lesser extent.

Pec-deck flye - this is an isolation exercise that works the pectorals.

2. Triceps

Dips - this compound exercise targets the triceps but also works the chest and shoulders.

3. Shoulders

Front military press - this compound exercise targets shoulders but also works the triceps.

Dumbbell lateral raises - this isolation exercise works the shoulders only.

Bentover dumbbell laterals - this isolation exercise works the rear delts.

WEDNESDAY (Back, Biceps, Forearms)

1. Back

Front lat pulls - compound exercise that targets lats but also works the biceps and mid-back.

Deadlifts - compound exercise that targets the back and quads but also works hamstrings, calves and glutes.

Dumbbell rows - compound exercise that targets mid-back but also works biceps and lats.

Dumbbell shrugs - isolation exercise that works traps.

2. Biceps

Dumbbell biceps curl - isolation exercise that works the biceps.

Dumbbell hammer curls - isolation exercise that works the biceps.

3. Forearms

Barbell wrist curl - isolation exercise that works the forearms.

FRIDAY (Lower Body)

1. Legs

Squats or leg press - compound exercise that targets the quads but also works the hamstrings, calves and glutes.

Leg extension - isolation exercise that works the quads.

Leg curls - isolation exercise that works the hamstrings.

Standing calf raise - isolation exercise that works the gastrocnemius calf muscle.

Seated calf raise - isolation exercise that works the soleus calf muscle.

You could start this program by aiming for two sets of 8-10 reps per exercise but as your strength and size increase you should really introduce techniques that boost the intensity even further. This can be achieved in a number of ways including the use of pre-exhaustion, super sets, partial reps, isometric contractions and forced reps. Indigo® Instruments isn’t only about supplying scientific kit to schools technicians, homeschoolers and students doing their science fair project. No! A fair few molecular models and countless other items have made their way to Hollywood, got themselves on the small screen and featured in some offbeat web experiments.

VP Stephan Logan explains how Rob Cohen’s 2005 movie “Stealth” is described on the Internet Movie Database as “Surprisingly enjoyable”. Why? Because a plot line based on three pilots deeply ensconced in a top-secret military program struggling to bring an artificial intelligence program under control before it initiates WWIII sounds just so unsurprising. The movie features intense action, violence and innuendo. But, far more excitingly it also features a 17-layer DNA model from Indigo. So, for what was it those pilots needed a model of DNA? You’ll have to watch the movie to find out.

One of Indigo’s “anatomically correct” 12-layer DNA models also features in the current hit movie “Fantastic Four.” In this marvelous piece of cinema, a group of astronauts gain superpowers after being exposed to cosmic radiation (yeah, right!) and are destined to use them in fighting the world-dominating plans of the evil Doctor Victor Von Doom. They couldn’t have thought of a more corny name for the villain, but at least the DNA molecular model used in the movie is scientifically accurate, having been built to the highest specifications by Indigo’s Logan himself.

Once again, superheroes are the subject of another movie to feature molecular model kits supplied to Hollywood by Indigo Instruments. In “Return of Zoom”, a movie based on the graphic novel “Zoom’s Academy for the Super Gifted” by Jason Lethcoe, an unpopular high school girl sent to superhero school by her “mysterious” father and discovers her hidden talents (a la Harry Potter, methinks). The makers of this movie, also utilized a DNA model from Indigo to reveal the inner workings of human genetics at the molecular level. Unfortunately, for Indigo’s image, the director asked for the model to be specially made so that it would fall apart easily. Don’t ask why, you’ll have to go see the movie.
